We exhibited at HANNOVER MESSE in Germany, the largest industrial technology trade fair in the world, and held meetings with a number of potential partners across power transmission, machine building and automotive supply.

The questions we were asked have shifted noticeably. Price is still the opening subject, but it is no longer the deciding one. Buyers wanted to talk about documentation: material traceability back to the heat number, dimensional reports per shipment, and whether we could support a controlled engineering change process rather than quietly substituting a material when a coil ran short.

There was also strong interest in sub-assembly rather than loose components. Several visitors described the same problem: they were buying five stamped parts from three suppliers and paying their own staff to assemble them. Consolidating that into one assembled, tested item delivered to the line removes labour cost and a whole class of assembly errors.
