Terminals connect a battery or busbar to the outside world, so both conductivity and mechanical retention matter. We stamp ring, fork, hook and blade terminals in copper, brass, aluminium and steel, with silver, tin, nickel or zinc plating specified to suit the current, the mating part and the operating environment.
